Problem Mapping Network Drive in Windows Vista

For whatever reason, mapping network drives in Vista is basically impossible. Sure, you can map the drive once, but as soon as you restart your computer the “Windows could not reconnect all network drives.” message pops up. Great…

I tried to be sneaky and specify the username in the COMPUTER\USERNAME format but was prompted for a security certificate when this happened. Check out the image below.

I’m still at a loss so if anyone knows how to fix this issue please let me know!
